Hakim Ziyech’s lack of playing time at Chelsea has led to rumours that he may leave the club in the summer transfer window and Tottenham is one potential destination claims French media outlet Jeunesfooteux.
Despite an impressive performance at the World Cup with Morocco, the winger has spent the last three Premier League games on the bench, reportedly frustrating him. As a result, he is more determined than ever to leave the club, having previously expressed a desire to do so in the previous transfer window.
Ziyech was close to joining PSG in January, but an administrative error from Chelsea resulted in the transfer being cancelled at the last minute. However, he remains in contact with the Parisian club and is reportedly pursued by several other clubs in the Premier League, La Liga, and Turkey. Tottenham, West Ham, Fulham, Betis Sevilla, Fenerbahçe, and Besiktas are among the clubs interested in signing the Moroccan international.
Chelsea is expected to ask for a transfer fee between 15-20 million euros, but a loan with an option to buy could also be discussed. However, Ziyech may have to take a pay cut as he currently earns 7 million euros per season. Despite being under contract until 2025, it appears certain that Ziyech will not be playing for Chelsea next season.
