Harry Kane is very much a wanted man and according to a variety of reports, there are three clubs that want to sign the England captain in the summer.
First up we have Man Utd and their interest has been confirmed via the Daily Mirror, for what that is worth.
Next, we have Newcastle United, who the Daily Star claim have no fewer than 11 players on their shopping list, including Kane and Neymar. Apparently, the Geordies want to emulate the Galacticos of Real Madrid.
And there you have your third interested party, Real Madrid, who according to Twitterati via various aggregators citing Spanish journalist @PacojoSER is wanted by the La Liga giants.
So it begins, no surprise really but let’s analyse this a little.
Would Harry Kane really leave Tottenham for Newcastle in order to win silverware? I don’t think so.
What about Real Madrid? Another likely no, he wants the Premier League goalscoring record and he won’t get that playing in Spain.
This leaves Man Utd and that brings Daniel Levy into the equation. Would the Spurs chairman sell to a Premier League rival? I would say no chance.
The rumours will continue no doubt but the chances of Kane leaving this summer are probably remote unless Levy has a change of mind.
