Fabrizio Romano has confirmed, via his Twitter account, that Tottenham has signed Juventus duo Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur.
The Transfer guru tweeted earlier in the day that Kulusevski to Tottenham was a done deal and he posted the confirmation up with a mocked-up image of the Sweden international in a Spurs shirt.

Romano then followed that one up a couple of hours later with the news that Bentancur has followed his Juve teammate out of Turin and on his way to North London.
Rodrigo Bentancur from Juventus to Tottenham, done deal and here we go! Agreement completed for €19m plus €6m add ons. He’s joining Spurs together with Dejan Kulusevski. ⚪️🤝 #THFC

It is difficult to know how to feel about this double swoop, it feels a bit desperate and I would have expected more from Fabio Paratici than him simply going back to his former club to pick up their rejects.
That said, both the players are young and are clearly talented, in fact, both had decent seasons last year in an underperforming side.
Kulusevski is just 21 but already well experienced, he has appeared on 20 occasions for Sweden and 55 times for Juventus, he is a midfielder/winger but is not prolific with just 15 goals and in 94 club games.
Bentancur is 24 and has turned out no less than 46 times for Uruguay, he has also played 133 times for Juventus and is considered a versatile midfielder that can perform many different functions, including being a box to box midfielder, winger or even a defensive midfielder.
I suppose that if Antonio Conte is happy with them and believes they can do a job at the Tottenham Stadium, then it is worth trusting that the club knows what it is doing.
That is if Fabrizio Romano is indeed correct in his proclamations.
