The biggest talking point right now among Tottenham fans is when will we see a new Spurs manager and it could happen sooner than we think.
Many scenarios could be played out over the next 24-48 hours and many of them will depend on how Tottenham do against Everton at Goodison Park this evening.
For example, an entertaining comprehensive win for the lads could see Cristian Stellini given a run at making the job is own, a bad loss and Daniel Levy could easily decide that he has to move immediately if he is to salvage anything from the season, even if it is just Europa League football.
There is also the manager merry-go-round that is unfolding at the moment, would the chairman really want to wait until the end of the season when it is more than plausible that Chelsea, Real Madrid, Paris St Germain, Juventus, AC Milan could all be looking for a new head honcho, all probably looking in the same pool.
Not knowing what is going through Levy’s mind at this moment in time means that it really is just guesswork at this stage and that applies to journalists and pundits as well, no one has a clue what Levy will do, he could still go ahead and employ a new manager even if Stellini oversees a 4-0 win this evening.
Therefore, playing the guessing game I will make the following predictions.
We will see a new Spurs manager within days if Tottenham ends up losing or drawing tonight, however, if Stellini gets a good win then I do expect him to still be in charge at the weekend when we face off against Brighton at the Tottenham Stadium.
Let me know in the comments below what you think will happen depending on the result this evening.
